PHIL CELOTTO

CONSULTANT

Phil helps WNY companies improve their operations through the implementation of lean manufacturing practices and ISO quality management systems. In addition to Insyte, Phil has worked at Hughes Aircraft, Carleton Technologies and SoPark Corporation in the engineering and operations fields. His experience includes positions as Project Engineer, Systems Engineer and Operations Manager. Phil is a certified Lean practitioner from SME/AME, has ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 Provisional Lead Auditor certifications and is an active member of APICS. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

JIM JOHNSON

CONSULTANT

Jim has more than 30 years of diverse manufacturing experience in engineering, project management, new product development and continuous improvement. Prior to joining Insyte, Jim held a variety of engineering positions at Greatbatch, Fisher-Price and General Motors. He is an active senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Jim is certified as a Professional Business Advisor through MEP University, is an ISO provisional lead auditor, and a trainer in lean manufacturing initiatives. He is on the Board of Advisors of RIT's Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. Jim holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a BS in Industrial Engineering from RIT.

BOB KOSOBUCKI

CONSULTANT

Bob specializes in helping companies strategize, plan and implement revenue growth. His areas of expertise include marketing, sales, product development, product management, product and process innovation and management for growth. Bob's experience includes VP positions in domestic and international sales and marketing, business unit management, engineering and operations with private, public and start-up companies in Silicon Valley, Austin, Dallas and Rochester. He has experience with a wide range of products and markets. Bob has a BSEE from Cornell University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, has attended the University of Vienna, Austria and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

JACK MCGOWAN

PROJECT MANAGER

Jack works with manufacturers on business and strategic planning, Innovation Engineering, lean manufacturing, finance and ISO quality management systems. He also helps technology start-ups prepare for equity and grant funding. Jack is director of the Western New York Venture Association/Buffalo Angels, manages the WNY Business Development Fund and is the NYSTAR-designated Regional Specialist for SBIR/STTR funding. Jack is a certified Innovation Engineering Growth Coach, provisional ISO Lead Auditor and MEP Professional Business Advisor. Before Insyte, Jack was a commercial relationship manager and VP at Goldome, HSBC and Fleet Banks. He holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo and a BS from Cornell University.

JOHN MURRAY

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

John has been in a Business Development role at Insyte for 17 years. His primary focus is marketing the company's services to manufacturers in Erie, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties. A secondary responsibility is providing marketing support to Insyte, as well as its client companies in a consulting role. John has over 20 years experience in various industrial marketing capacities with divisions of major global corporations including Tennant Company, TRW, Textron and National Gypsum. John is also a member of the Orchard Park Economic Development Committee. He holds a BS in Marketing from Canisius College and an MBA from The University at Buffalo.

TOM QUINN

CONSULTANT

Tom specializes in information technology, including systems integration, system requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation. He has led multi-million dollar, organization-wide technology and systems based projects for over 20 years. Tom is also an experienced practitioner of process improvement and organizational change management. Before Insyte, Tom managed a team of project managers at M&T Bank responsible for delivering client-focused solutions in office environments throughout the bank. He also worked as the technical operations manager for Integron Inc. Tom holds an MBA and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. Tom is a certified ISO provisional auditor and possesses numerous lean instructor certifications.

BEN RAND

PRESIDENT

Ben focuses on business development, innovation and executive coaching for Insyte based on his 20 years of experience in general management and consulting with manufacturing companies. Before Insyte, Ben was president of Sefar Filtration and a SVP & GM with USFilter, a Fortune 500 water filtration manufacturer. Ben is Chair of the American Small Manufacturers Coalition based in Washington, D.C., a member of the World Trade Center Board of Directors and the Lead for the Entrepreneurship Work Group of the WNY Regional Economic Development Council. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Yale University.

BILL SHEPARD

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Bill has more than 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, and managerial development. Bill works with manufacturers in Northern Erie, Niagara, and Allegany Counties. Before joining Insyte, Bill founded Shepard and Associates, where he worked with hundreds of local companies to create and implement customized training programs. He has served as an officer of both the Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives, and the Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association. Bill currently serves as secretary of the board of directors of the Food Bank of Western New York and is a member of the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance. Bill holds a BS in Management from the University at Buffalo.
