Philip Celotto has over 21 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. Prior to joining Insyte Consulting, he worked in the areas of product development, project management and production management. He has experience in operations, quality and manufacturing planning. Mr. Celotto works with regional small and medium size companies to implement lean manufacturing, improve productivity, develop and implement quality systems and develop strategic plans. Phil is a certified Professional Business Advisor through MEP University, a certified trainer in lean manufacturing initiatives and is certified as an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor.
Karen Delius is the Marketing Coordinator for Insyte Consulting. Ms. Delius has over 20 years experience working with companies in a variety of business environments. She facilitates and implements processes which support the overall marketing function of Insyte Consulting. Ms. Delius is the Editor of the Affiliates News and responsible for the coordination of Insyte Consulting manufacturing “Best Practices” workshops.
Steven DiIoia was trained and certified through Motorola as a Six Sigma Black Belt, certified through MEP University as a Professional Business Advisor, and certified through SixSigma.US as a Master Black Belt. He has over 10 years experience in manufacturing, focusing in the areas of continuous process improvement, lean manufacturing, and manufacturing/quality systems improvement and implementation. He has lead project teams that have helped companies implement system/process improvements, increased productivity, and improved product quality resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
David English has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience in operations management and quality initiatives in various industries in Buffalo and Rochester NY. He has been a leader in team building, culture change, process improvement, cost reduction, quality systems and ISO implementation. David also has extensive compliance experience with ISO and cGMP-FDA including ISO 13485 inspections in the medical device and pharmeceutical-drug industries. He has successfully implemented cellular manufacturing using lean enterprise tools and principles and self-directed teams and has relocated two large manufacturing facilities. David is an adjunct professor at Erie Community College in the industrial-Manufacturing Technology program.
David Hallett works with WNY companies to improve costs and grow sales using contemporary improvement techniques. Prior to joining Insyte Consulting he spent six years as the owner of Hallett Consulting, providing consulting support for manufacturing companies and entrepreneurs. He has over 20 years of progressive management experience in a diverse range of industries and positions. Mr. Hallett has a demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing and kaizen events, as well as change management techniques. He is a certified Jonah, trained in the Theory of Constraints (TOC) thinking process, through the Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute. He has also received certification as an ISO 9001:2000 Provisional Lead Auditor, a Professional Business Advisor through MEP University and is certified as a Eureka! Winning Ways Growth Coach.
Sharon Hilts has over 18 years of manufacturing experience in process engineering, materials management, quality, and safety. Ms. Hilts’ leadership focus on safety improvement has resulted in significantly fewer recordable incidents and in receiving corporate awards in OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). She has worked with small-to-medium-size companies to reduce inventories, improve material flow, and increase on-time delivery. Ms. Hilts is a Certified Quality Engineer and has completed Six Sigma Green Belt training. Her continuous improvement experience enables her to work with manufacturers to improve their systems and processes to increase productivity and reduce costs
James S. Johnson has over 25 years of diversified manufacturing experience. Prior to joining Insyte Consulting, he worked in the automotive, consumer products and medical industries, with various levels of responsibility. Mr. Johnson's experience in industrial, costing and manufacturing engineering; project management; new product development and continuous improvement implementation enables him to work with small and medium-size manufacturers, helping them to increase their profitability, effectiveness and efficiency. He evaluates the overall performance of a company and recommends, facilitates and implements changes to the organization utilizing appropriate strategic lean manufacturing or general business techniques. Mr. Johnson is an active senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He is certified as a Professional Business Advisor through MEP University, as an ISO 9001:2000 provisional lead auditor, an ISO:TS16949 provisional lead auditor and as a trainer in lean manufacturing initiatives.
Bob Kosobucki has over 20 years experience in marketing, sales, engineering and strategic planning of technical, industrial and commercial products, covering both domestic and international markets. Mr. Kosobucki has held senior management positions in marketing, sales, engineering and operations with entrepreneurial start-up companies, public companies and small private companies in Rochester New York , Austin Texas, Dallas Texas and Silicon Valley. Andrea Mayer is an Accountant with Insyte Consulting. She has over 6 years of financial experience working in business environments. Ms. Schutz coordinates Insyte Consulting’s financial operations. Ms. Mayer is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo and Post Baccalaureate Accounting courses from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
Jack McGowan has over 25 years experience working with early-stage technology and small to medium-sized manufacturing companies. He provides consulting in the areas of business planning, strategic planning, finance, ISO Quality Systems, and marketing. His work at Insyte Consulting included management of the University at Buffalo Technology Incubator. Mr. McGowan is a certified Professional Business Advisor through MEP University and a certified trainer in lean enterprise initiatives. Ms. McQuillen has over 20 years of experience working in administrative and managerial positions in research or start-up environments and not-for-profit environments. John Murray, Director of Sales and Marketing, has over 30 years experience in a variety of industries, including floor maintenance equipment, industrial hand tools, coatings/resins, and building products. He works with WNY manufacturers to conduct marketing analysis and facilitate company-wide marketing planning. Mr. Murray aids manufacturers in implementing appropriate marketing and sales techniques and conducts project management activities for a variety of projects. Thomas Quinn has over 17 years of experience in the IT field. His strengths and expertise lie in strategic business decisions involving IT-related systems and equipment and the ability to provide proven tactical plans supporting the vision of an organization. Benjamin Rand joined Insyte Consulting as president in 2007. He has 20+ years of experience in general management, operations and marketing for a variety of public and private companies. Ben served as president of Sefar Filtration Inc., a privately-held Swiss company, and was a VP/GM with USFilter, a Fortune 500 water purification equipment manufacturer. Ben is skilled in serving the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Automotive and Appliance markets with capital equipment, filtration products and filter media. Mr. Rand is president of the TDC Foundation Inc. a member of the World Trade Center Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership Manufacturers' Council and a member of Vistage (formerly TEC) 421.

North District Regional Sales Manager
Bill Shepard, Regional Sales Manager, has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and managerial development. As owner of Shepard and Associates, Bill worked with hundreds of local and national companies of all sizes to create and implement customized training programs in the areas of leadership, supervisory skills, customer service, sales training, and time management. In addition, he has worked in leadership positions with multiple companies as both Sales Manager and Sales Consultant. Mr. Shepard has served as an officer of the Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives and an active member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Buffalo/Niagara Human Resource Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Food Bank of Western New York.
