Philip Celotto has over 25 years of manufacturing and engineering experience. Prior to joining Insyte Consulting, he worked in the areas of product development, project management and production management. He has experience in operations, quality and manufacturing planning. Mr. Celotto works with regional small and medium size companies to implement lean manufacturing, improve productivity, develop and implement quality systems and develop strategic plans. Phil is a Lean Bronze Certified Practitioner through SME, AME and the Shingo Prize, a certified Professional Business Advisor through MEP University, a certified trainer in lean manufacturing initiatives and is certified as an ISO 9000 Provisional Lead Auditor and an ISO:TS16949 Provisional Lead Auditor.
Steven DiIoia was trained and certified through Motorola as a Six Sigma Black Belt, certified through MEP University as a Professional Business Advisor, and certified through SixSigma.US as a Master Black Belt. He has over 17 years experience in manufacturing, focusing in the areas of continuous process improvement, lean manufacturing, and manufacturing/quality systems improvement and implementation. He has lead project teams that have helped companies implement system/process improvements, increased productivity, and improved product quality resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
Sharon Hilts has over 20 years of manufacturing experience in process engineering, materials management, quality, and safety. Ms. Hilts’ leadership focus on safety improvement has resulted in significantly fewer recordable incidents and in receiving corporate awards in OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). She further promotes safety in WNY organizations by serving on the WNY Safety Conference Board of Directors. Ms. Hilts has worked with small-to-medium-size companies to reduce inventories, improve material flow, and increase on-time delivery. She is a Certified Quality Engineer, an ISO9001:2000 Lead Auditor, and a Six Sigma Black Belt. Sharon has been trained in Value Stream Mapping, Creating Continuous Flow and Creating Level Pull from the Lean Enterprise Institute and in OSHA General Industry Safety & Health. Her continuous improvement experience enables her to work with manufacturers to improve their systems and processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
James S. Johnson has over 30 years of diversified manufacturing experience. Prior to joining Insyte Consulting, he worked in the automotive, consumer products and medical industries, with various levels of responsibility. Mr. Johnson's experience in industrial, costing and manufacturing engineering; project management; new product development and continuous improvement implementation; enables him to work with small and medium-size manufacturers, helping them to increase their profitability, effectiveness and efficiency. He evaluates the overall performance of a company and recommends, facilitates and implements improvements to the organization utilizing appropriate strategic, lean manufacturing or general business techniques. Mr. Johnson is an active senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He is certified as a Professional Business Advisor through MEP University, is an ISO 9001:2008 provisional lead auditor, an ISO:TS16949 provisional lead auditor and a trainer in lean manufacturing initiatives. Mr. Johnson is on the Board of Advisors of RIT's Industrial and Systems Engineering Department.
Bob Kosobucki has held senior management positions with technology companies in engineering, new product development, international business development, product line management, sales & marketing, operations and business unit management. He has worked with private, public and VC funded start-up companies in Silicon Valley, Austin TX, Dallas TX and Rochester NY. Bob is active in the community as a mentor for the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL), The Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) and Panasci Business Start-up Competition. His is also a registered Professional Engineer.
Andrea Mayer is an Accountant with Insyte Consulting. She has over 10 years of financial experience working in business environments. Ms. Mayer coordinates Insyte Consulting’s financial operations. Ms. Mayer is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo and Post Baccalaureate Accounting courses from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
Jack McGowan has over 30 years experience working with early-stage technology and small to medium-sized manufacturing companies. He provides consulting in the areas of business planning, strategic planning, lean initiatives, finance, ISO quality management systems and marketing. Jack's work at Insyte Consulting includes serving as the director of the Western New York Venture Association, a not-for-profit organization that facilitates interaction between entrepreneurs and angel investors, and management of the Western New York Business Development Fund, a pre-seed stage investment fund. He is a certified Professional Business Advisor through MEP University and a certified trainer in Lean enterprise inititatives. Jack has also received provisional certification as an ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor and is a certified Eureka! Winning Ways Growth Coach.
Jack is one of three SBIR/STTR Regional Specialists designated by the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR). In this role he provides information and proposal development assistance to technology-based small businesses located in New York State to help them access the U.S. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant program.
Linda McQuillen is Director of Administration with Insyte Consulting. Ms. McQuillen has over 20 years of experience working in administrative and managerial positions in research or start-up environments and not-for-profit environments. Ms. McQuillen oversees the administrative, financial, and human resource functions at Insyte Consulting.
John Murray, Director of Sales and Marketing, has over 30 years experience in a variety of industries, including floor maintenance equipment, industrial hand tools, coatings/resins, and building products. He works with WNY manufacturers to conduct marketing analysis and facilitate company-wide marketing planning. Mr. Murray aids manufacturers in implementing appropriate marketing and sales techniques and conducts project management activities for a variety of projects. Mr. Murray is a certified Professional Business Advisor through MEP University.
Thomas Quinn
Information Technology Consultant
Thomas Quinn has over 21 years of experience successfully implementing improvements in transactional and service (office) environments. The combination of an engineering and a business degree, along with hands-on technical experience has allowed him to excel at taking tactical and strategic business objectives and turning them into sound, technology-based solutions. His experience includes the selection and implementation of new products or systems, sustaining quality management systems, and office-based process improvements. The combination of being a certified lean and value stream mapping instructor, provisional ISO lead auditor, and six sigma practitioner has allowed him to successfully implement changes and improvements in all types and sizes of organizations. He is equally comfortable talking strategy with CEOs as well as technology with product specialists and is adept at turning management expectations into legitimate technical project plans.
Benjamin Rand joined Insyte Consulting as president in 2007. He has 20+ years of experience in general management, operations and marketing for a variety of public and private companies. Ben served as president of Sefar Filtration Inc., a privately-held Swiss company, and was a VP/GM with USFilter, a Fortune 500 water purification equipment manufacturer. Ben is skilled in serving the Medical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Automotive and Appliance markets with capital equipment, filtration products and filter media. Mr. Rand is president of the TDC Foundation Inc. a member of the World Trade Center Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership Manufacturers' Council and a member of Vistage (formerly TEC) 421.
Bill Shepard
North District Regional Sales Manager
Bill Shepard, Regional Sales Manager, has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and managerial development. As owner of Shepard and Associates, Bill worked with hundreds of local and national companies of all sizes to create and implement customized training programs in the areas of leadership, supervisory skills, customer service, sales training, and time management. In addition, he has worked in leadership positions with multiple companies as both Sales Manager and Sales Consultant. Mr. Shepard has served as an officer of the Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives and an active member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Buffalo/Niagara Human Resource Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Food Bank of Western New York.
Jeanne Stoness is a Project Analyst with Insyte Consulting, with specific emphasis placed on contract and capacity management, performance reporting and customer project support. She has over 18 years of experience working with companies in a variety of business environments. Jeanne delivers technical assistance to our internal staff and external client base through critical data support & analysis and performance measurement.
